This special community event celebrates Cheadle’s incredible contribution to the war effort, including the story of the Spitfire “Hope of Cheadle”, funded through local donations. The day will feature a full-sized replica aircraft, 1940s-themed stalls and a range of community activities in the heart of town.

Volunteer roles include general stewarding, helping visitors, and supporting the event organisers on the day. It’s a great way to be part of a landmark community celebration and meet new people.
