Today we are accepting applications for the third round of Engagement Funding from Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) groups to support and grow their work. The closing date for applications is September 30th 2024 at 5pm.

Applications can be submitted online here. If you require a Word Document copy please contact your local Community Officer on the details below.

Examples that were successfully funded in the previous rounds include:
An initiative for neurodivergent people to design inclusive spaces and places, a new Community Hub in Burton, a Tamworth support group for families of addicted loved ones, a Parkinsons exercise and support group, a resource for people with mental health problems to be supported in recovery in Lichfield, a Fibromyalgia support group focussed around creative activities, Deaf Hubs in Lichfield and Tamworth, Yoga for over 50’s South Asian women in Burton On Trent, providing free loan bikes for health and a project reducing isolation and creating connection in rural areas.

This funding can be applied for by Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises working in Southeast Staffordshire, consisting of East Staffordshire, Lichfield District and Tamworth Borough. The funding can be from £500 to £2000 and project duration must be at least 6 months and completed by October 2025. It needs to be a new initiative, and this funding can pilot or expand VCSE support and services for people.

A Support Staffordshire Community Officer can discuss with you how best to access any support and development needs you have in order to complete your proposal. If you have any questions please contact:
