University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) have been awarded funding to develop a public health practioner degree apprentice and a public health analyst masters apprentice within UHNM.
This is an exciting opportunity as there are only seven places across the Midlands that have been funded.

Population Health Intelligence Specialist Apprentice
As a Population Health Intelligence Specialist Apprentice you will focus on analysing health and care data to improve public health outcomes in line with UHNM strategy, support decision-making, and enhance the efficiency of healthcare services. The role involves working with diverse data sources, collaborating with partners, and developing a data driven approach to population health improvement.

Population Health Co-ordinator Apprentice
This role is part as a member of the Strategy and Transformation team, to co-ordinate in the delivery of public health improvement activities in line with our recently approved population health and wellbeing strategy. As a Population Health Apprentice you will work in partnership to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities. You will also support the planning, delivery and evaluation of public health initiatives. You will work in specified areas of public health and across portfolio areas in line with the learning on the degree programme and population need.
