The funding will support a range of organisations of diverse geographies, sizes, perspectives, and approaches who are united by their work to improve the mental and physical health of women. This initiative seeks to open access to funding streams to organisations and groups that historically have not had access to them.
Applications will be accepted from organisations around the world that have a record of improving women’s mental and/or physical health. They should centre equity in their approach and be poised to scale their work to strengthen the health of more women.
To be eligible, UK applicants must be recognised as one of the following:
- A non-governmental organisation
- A higher educational organisation
- A charitable organisation.
- A not-for-profit organisation.
- A similar type entity that is a not-for-profit organisation or government agency that is engaged in charitable activities.
Applicants must:
- Have two years of audited financial records.
- Be able to provide proof of registration and governance structure (eg, Trust Deed, Constitution, Memorandum and Articles of Association, Bylaws, Statutes, Charter, etc.).
- Have the time and capacity to complete an application by the application deadline of 10 January 2025, and potentially participate in Participatory Review (the process can take up to 30 hours).
The funding is flexible and will support the expansion of an organisation’s programmatic work in service of improving women’s health. The funding must be used for charitable purposes.

- 3 December 2024 (16:00 US Central time/22:00 GMT) – deadline to register to apply.
- 10 January 2025 (16:00 US Central time/22:00 GMT) – deadline for complete applications for those who have registered.
- January – February 2025 – review period
- March 2025 – applications will be scored.
- December 2025 – Awardees will be announced.
