Doxey Walking Group Supporting Women’s Refuge in Lichfield

When the Walking group walk on the Chase we frequent a local cafe called The Chase Cafe, this is on the Enterprise Industrial Estate on the Hednesford to Rugeley road.

Every year they have a Toy Collection and these Toys are for a Women’s Refuge in Lichfield. Because the Walkers enjoy going to the Cafe ( I’d get lynched otherwise ) we thought we would have a collection to purchase Toys, we managed to collect £130 and purchased 32 Toys.

We presented the Toys on Wednesday 4th December after a 4 mile walk.
