NEW – ‘5 ways to wellbeing’ email campaign 2025
We are launching a new campaign in response to growing concerns around mental wellbeing, both nationally and across the county.
In 2023/24, Staffordshire recorded:
- 137 emergency hospital admissions per 100,000 people for intentional self-harm, above the national average of 117 in England.
- an increase from just over 10,000 people to over 12,600 people diagnosed with depression.
The “5 ways to wellbeing” campaign aims to help support residents in improving their mental and emotional wellbeing.
The first part of the campaign encourages residents to sign up to weekly emails.
They will start by scoring their wellbeing at the start of their journey, and then they will receive two emails each week, with various challenges based on one of the 5 ways to wellbeing.
They will then score their wellbeingagain at the end of six weeks, to see if their score has improved. We will also be asking for feedback throughout the campaign, so that we can develop the campaign further.
So, what are the 5 ways to wellbeing?
