Fundraising Partnership with Residential Energy Services

We’re happy to have a Fundraising Partnership with Residential Energy Services (RES), who are local energy experts that are based in Newcastle under Lyme.

They specialise in targeting the energy efficiency needs of each individual household and maximising thermal performance, energy usage and the smart management of energy costs for each business or building.

As part of their services, they run their Warmer Home Project and this provides energy advice and support to hard to reach groups (including the elderly and/or those with low incomes), as well as those living in hard to treat properties (including those not connected to the gas network).

The service also helps those communities to take control of their energy usage, as well as connect them to available funding which is targeted to improve home efficiency and reduce bills for the service user.

RES can provide Community Space Pop-Up Events delivered by qualified energy experts that will be able to give energy advice and guidance to members of the community and/or your service users. The events can be tailored to suit the needs of the target audience, from dropping into a support groups, to attending fates, and to hosting dedicated events in community spaces such as at a Village Hall.

They can also offer Workplace Energy Advice on things such as how to save energy and reduce waste at home and at work, an introduction to energy saving measures such as insulation, an overview of grants available to support and fund home improvements, one to one sessions to create individual energy action plans and take away energy advice packs.

To find out more or to book any of their services, please email Lucy on [email protected] and quote that you are a member of Support Staffordshire. You can also view their website at www.residentialenergyservices.co.uk/warmer-homes
