We’re pleased to announce our Fundraising Partnership with T150 Energy Ltd! They have a ‘Payback Scheme’, which is a great idea that charities can take advantage of!
T150 Energy’s ‘Payback Scheme’ is a charitable initiative designed to give back to the care, education, and charity sectors by helping organisations secure energy contracts. The key concept behind the scheme is to donate a portion of the commission earned from these contracts back to the organisations themselves.
Here’s how it works:
- The Payback Scheme brokers energy contracts (gas, electricity, and water) for organisations within the Carem Education and Charity sectors.
- When these organisations secure new energy contracts through the scheme, part of the commission earned from the energy supplier is donated back to them.
- This model not only helps organisations save money on their energy costs, but also contributes funds back into sectors that support communities, such as care homes, schools, and charities.
The Payback Scheme was inspired by the T150 Energy’s Managing Directors personal experience of overcoming a serious illness in November 2020 and the support he received from the NHS and various charitable organisations.
As a way of giving back, Matt created the Payback Scheme, which is part of a wider initiative known as the ‘Million Pound Mission,’ aiming to reinvest £1 million into these sectors over time.
It’s a win-win for organisations, as they can reduce their utility costs while also supporting their communities through the donations made.
