The Volunteering for Health project is part of an NHS England initiative to increase both the number of volunteering within the NHS and also the support that is given to those volunteers. Support Staffordshire are working jointly with Volunteering Action Stoke on Trent (VAST) and the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to support volunteering at all the NHS Trusts operating within Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent.
As part of this project we’re looking for people who work within the NHS and are volunteers in their spare time who would be happy to share their volunteering story. If that’s you, we’d love to hear from you and find out about:
- how you found your volunteering role
- what inspired you to volunteer
- what keeps you volunteering
- and what you’d say to colleagues to encourage them to volunteer
