Noel Sweeney Foundation Admin Support

Location: Chasetown                                  Hours: 22.5/week  

The Noel Sweeney Foundation is the Charitable Trust of Tara Group, set up to support local communities in the Midlands.

Created to ensure a long-lasting legacy for Tara Group’s founder, Noel Sweeney, the Foundation’s passion is supporting grassroots projects and charities with young and/or disadvantaged people at their heart.

 

Where will you focus?

  • Arrange and attend quarterly Trustee meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes and supporting with actions. 
  • Assist in managing new grant applications, sponsorship requests and community outreach programmes. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all charitable activities and donations.
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners and ensure adherence to Foundation’s grant conditions. 
  • Coordinate and create communication with stakeholders, including beneficiaries, community partners, employees and Trustees.
  • Develop and distribute promotional materials and reports on charitable activities both internally and externally. 
  • Manage the implementation of measurement and reporting technology. 
  • Own the planning and execution of events, workshops, and community engagements.
  • Support in managing practical projects for partners involving people expertise both within our Group and wider supply chain. 

 

What kind of person are you? 

Core to this role is a high level of compassion, and passion for community impact and social responsibility. As one of the first points of contact for the Foundation, we are looking for someone who can communicate effectively and empathetically with a wide range of people. You will need to be practical, proactive, unflappable and able to use your initiative. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential, to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities. You will have existing strong skills on Microsoft Office packages, the ability to adapt to new technology packages as required. You will have experience and confidence in creating engaging content to be shared both internally and externally across social media platforms.
