Case Study – Climate Ambassadors
Keele University are the West Midlands Hub for the Climate Ambassadors programme, a DEFRA funded project which supports educational settings create Climate Action Plans. Trained volunteers are matched with educational settings to support them in the following areas: decarbonisation, adaptation and resilience, climate education and green careers, biodiversity. Funding – Climate Action Fund, Staffordshire County Council
Apply for £3000-£5000 from Staffordshire County Council’s Climate Action Fund if you have a project idea around renewable energy and circular economy . Projects could include: repair and refurbishment, sharing and leasing platforms (eg Library of Things), recycling and waste projects, or installation of renewable technologies.
