The Summer Holidays are here and lots of people are enjoying a well earned break in the sunshine! We hope you all have lovely plans for something restful in the coming few weeks and enjoy a lovely break.
Volunteering doesn’t stop for the summer though! Whilst lots of organisations and regular volunteers may be taking a well earned break, there are plenty of organisations putting on events and activities for people to enjoy over the holidays with lots of amazing volunteers supporting them.
Please remember to say a huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers that are making people’s summers by helping at a festival, marshalling a sporting event, helping at a fundraising event, being a car park marshal, serving refreshments, and much much more – they make our days out, so please recognise them and make their day too!
