There are so many things to get involved with at Uttoxeter Heath Community Centre and different volunteer opportunities every day, if you have just an hour or a whole afternoon to spare. Located on Holly Road there’s an amazing community garden and outdoor space to help look after, toddler and youth groups to get involved with, social bus trips around the country to join in with, and a huge craft cupboard to keep tidy.
There’s the chance to sit on the committee, think of new ideas and activities for the people of Uttoxeter to enjoy and promote through social media, and also contribute important admin skills to keep everything running smoothly.
The foodbank and kitchen always need an extra pair of hands, especially with the popular afternoon teas, and The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT) food bank has arrived in the town – based at the centre, and is a brilliant way to join in and help others.
