We Love Lichfield

We Love Lichfield is an endowment fund, and provides funding to community and voluntary organisations across the whole Lichfield district, including in Burntwood and the surrounding villages.  In 2017, Lichfield District Council devolved their local community grants to the We Love Lichfield fund, and there are currently 2 rounds of funding every year, one in May and one in November.  In 2018 the We Love Burntwood fund began making awards through We Love Lichfield, although the Burntwood funding will be ringfenced to be used exclusively in Burntwood.

You can apply for a grant of up to £1,000.

These grants will be awarded to organisations that provide facilities or services for local people.  The aim is to enhance the provision of service, provide new services, help to make organisations more efficient, or to improve the scope of their provision.  This might include extending provision to other people.

Grants from the We Love Lichfield fund can be used for either capital or revenue projects, and can be spent over the course of a year.  It would be unusual for the fund to make an award to the same organisation for the same project two years running, unless you can demonstrate that their have been significant developments or increased demand for your project.

Any organisation that receives a grant will be invited along to a presentation event.  No funding will be issued until the presentation event.  Details of the event will be sent to all successful applicants at the time of award notification.
