Sarah from the Public Health Team at Staffordshire County Council, specifically in the areas of Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention has asked us to share this with you.
There are Free Suicide Awareness and Prevention training that is commissioned by Staffordshire County Council, and it may be of interest to you and/or the people that you work with. The courses, which have been developed and delivered by North Staffs MIND have been running since October 2022 and to date, around 2500 people have attended.
The course is held online, via Zoom, free of charge and available to anyone who lives, works or volunteers in Staffordshire. We are currently running them at a rate of approximately two per month and have some availability on the courses over the next few months so I just wanted to share the booking link with you in case it was of interest. Please feel free to forward the information on to anyone else who you think might be interested in taking the course. If you could share as widely as possible amongst any members of the public that you feel may benefit from this too, that would be really helpful
