Grants are available to charities across England, Scotland and Wales that help communities thrive, with a particular focus on children, young people and people experiencing disadvantage.
Value Notes
Each division can make a £1,500 donation each month, increasing to £3,000 in December and January.
Who Can Apply
Charities that operate locally to a Barratt Redrow site or Divisional office can apply. They must be registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales or the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), and must not have applied for or received a donation from the Foundation during the previous 12 months.
Restrictions
Applications cannot be accepted from:
- Community Interest Companies (CICs) and other types of not-for-profit organisations.
- Sports clubs and recreational groups that are not registered charities.
- Individuals or Crowdfunding.
- Charities that operate at a regional or national level (ie in two or more counties).
- Charities that operate outside of the UK.
- Charities that do not have a record of submitting their Annual Report and Accounts with the Charity Commission or Scottish Charity Regulator on time.
Eligible Expenditure
The Foundation’s focus is on children, young people and people experiencing disadvantage; prioritising education, employability, homelessness and mental health projects.

How To Apply
Applications must complete an online Expression of Interest form which will be passed onto the local Barratt Division for consideration. Successful applicants will be contacted within three months. Applicants not contacted within this timeframe have not been selected.
