Breast Cancer Now – Local Support Services

We’re dedicated to giving support for today and hope for the future, for everyone affected by breast cancer.

Services

You don’t always feel ‘back to normal’ when you finish hospital treatment for primary breast cancer. Coping with the shock of your diagnosis, treatment and side effects, as well as worries about your cancer coming back, can make it hard to readjust to everyday life.

That’s why Moving Forward is here. Through supportive, open conversations in a safe, confidential space, you’ll connect with people who understand. And you’ll find the tools you need to feel more empowered, confident and in control, so you can move forward with your life.

The course takes place over 2 half days on consecutive weeks, either in person or online. And look out for our regular Speakers Live sessions that you can join online wherever you are.

We currently run courses throughout Staffordshire so please check our website to find a course near you. https://breastcancernow.org/support-for-you/moving-forward/moving-forward-in-person/

Living with Secondary Breast Cancer group

We know a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer can mean adjusting to difficult changes in your life, and sometimes it can help to talk with other people in a similar situation. Our group gives people living with secondary breast cancer the chance to do just that, in a relaxed and supportive environment. Our monthly group takes place in Stoke on Trent, usually on the first Wednesday of the month from 11am-1pm.

You can register for the group on our website Register for Living with Secondary Breast Cancer | Breast Cancer Now or give us a call on 0345 077 1893.
