The funding programme, eligibility criteria and application process will be available from Friday 31st July on the following webpage: Community and business funding – Voluntary & community sector funding
The Community and Voluntary Sector (CVS) Funding Programme supports voluntary and community organisations that deliver projects and services which make a positive difference to residents across Lichfield District. Through this funding, Lichfield District Council is seeking proposals that help deliver the outcomes of the Lichfield District 2050 Strategy, respond to local needs, and create a positive long-term legacy for our communities. Funding is available for projects and activities taking place between April 2027 and March 2030, with applications closing on 10 September 2026.
A total of £1,172,367 is available to award over the three-year funding period, including £500,000 for community transport projects and £672,367 for all other projects. Eligible not-for-profit organisations can apply for grants towards projects that benefit local residents, including activities, services, equipment and project-related staffing costs.
Community transport funding is available for projects that help people access services, activities and opportunities where public or commercial transport is limited, unavailable or unsuitable. We would particularly welcome your support in sharing this opportunity with any groups or organisations that may benefit from this dedicated funding stream.
