We’re delighted to announce that TV presenter Rav Wilding will deliver the keynote at the Power of Local: Support Staffordshire’s Conference for the VCSE Sector on Thursday 7 May 2026 at The Octagon Conference Centre, Stafford.
The Power of Local conference brings together charities, community groups, social enterprises, trustees, and civic organisations from across Staffordshire. Designed to empower local organisations, the day will provide practical tools, expert guidance, and opportunities to connect with peers and sector leaders.
With rising demand and increasing pressure on resources, Staffordshire’s VCSE sector needs spaces to learn, share, and grow.
The Conference will give attendees practical ideas they can take straight back to their communities, gain insight into funding and volunteering strategies, and connect with experts and fellow sector leaders.
Delegates will benefit from:
- Keynote insights from Rav Wilding
- Special guest speaker Professor Elizabeth Barnes CBE, Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, highlighting The King’s Award and celebrating local organisations
- ‘Ask the Experts’ breakout sessions covering funding, trusts and grants, volunteering, EDI, sustainability, and AI for charities
- Networking opportunities with peers, partners, funders, and service providers
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired at Support Staffordshire’s must-attend conference for the VCSE sector!
