We are proud to have a partnership with Staffordshire Football Association as we work together to provide grassroots clubs with the opportunity to access additional support through and delivered by Support Staffordshire. Over recent years, Support Staffordshire have provided bespoke support to various grassroots football clubs across Staffordshire and we are now encouraging more clubs to embrace the support which is available, including finding funding opportunities, applying for funding, recruiting volunteers and club structure options.
Here at Support Staffordshire we understand how hard it can be to run a charity or voluntary group, but we know how vital these groups are to the local community. Grassroots football clubs are so important as they help to keep people active, bring people together and creates a sense of community. If grassroots football clubs become a member of Support Staffordshire then they will receive 10 hours of free support for the first year of membership from your dedicated Locality Officer, with 3 hours per year after that. The support includes funding and fundraising, involving volunteers, policies and procedures and governance and Trustees.
We are also holding workshops that clubs from across Staffordshire can access and join us for to help increase your knowledge and empower the club to be the very best they can be. Our first workshop will take place online of the evening of Monday 23rd October 2023 from 7pm to 8.30pm.
