Case Study – Rethink Food/Six Inches of Soil
In June, a showing of the independent film ‘Six Inches of Soil’ was hosted at Rising Brook Community Church in Stafford. 90 people attended the event, starting with a shared meal, then watching the film which shows the journey of three farmers in the process of changing their farming practises to become more regenerative with nature. The event finished with a panel consisting of local farmers, soil experts from Harper Adams University, farming representatives and community garden projects, sparking insightful and interesting questions from the audience. Well done to Rethink Food, Sustainability Matter Stafford and Rising Brook Church for organising and hosting the event.
