Spotlight on: New Projects
September sees the changing of the seasons. Our connections to nature and green spaces may be increased due to the summer we have had, and we are exploring these connections that we have to green spaces. During August you may have found us at the Trent and Dove Kingfisher Project Family Day and Shobnall Playday. We spoke to Burton residents about what green spaces in the area they visited and could access, as part of a project with the National Forest.
Like the summer plants welcoming the sun and the rain, we have also welcomed new staff members to our Support Staffordshire team. With extra staff on-board the team, we look forward to connecting with you and our communities to bring about positive lasting change.
We also have a project working in partnership with Keele University for businesses and community based groups based in the Stafford borough, to increase knowledge and skills around organisational sustainability, funded by Stafford Borough Council. Look out for our upcoming community based sustainability sessions, as well as some sessions aimed at SME (small to medium sized enterprise) businesses. The first community event can be booked on to here.
If you want to move towards ‘supercharging your sustainability’, getting skilled up and more, follow our website for upcoming sessions. Alternatively, follow our social media accounts:
