Across Staffordshire, our VCSE sector continues to deliver extraordinary things – often with limited resources, and a belief that communities are strongest when people work together. This month is no exception.
We have recently been celebrating the extraordinary people who give their time to make Staffordshire a better place. Our Volunteering Awards took place across the county, recognising the dedication and difference that volunteers make every single day. It is always a privilege to hear these stories. They are a reminder of just how strong our communities are.
Thank you to every volunteer who was nominated, and to all who give their time so generously.
We have also received a response from Staffordshire County Council regarding the concerns we raised about libraries and Pride. We welcome the assurances given, including confirmation that a review is now under way with a full Community Impact Assessment.
